SGA RUN-OFF RESULTS
YIELDS CAUSE FOR CONCERN
At first, I wanted to send my congrats to all elected officials for the 2008-2009 school year. However, after listening to the debates via podcasat, I am very concerned about the future of my beloved school’s SGA.
1. Why did SU elect a president who is fired up about everything and very argumentative? People skills should be a must.
2. Why did SU elect a Miss Southern who couldn’t even tell you about the economic stimulus package? That is nothing to be proud of. You should have known that and not have had to go and research it.
Southern University students need think carefully next time before placing that vote.

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS NOT MY SAVIOR
“Kudos to you, sister, for having the courage to say what a lot of black people are intimidated into not saying. I find it mighty curious that many of the same folks who not long ago were claiming former President Bill Clinton as “The First Black President” and embracing Hillary as well, are suddenly hardened opponents of Hillary. I have to admit that I am still undecided about our two great candidates. If I do vote for Obama, it will not be because he’s black or because he is “winning”; I will vote for him because I believe he is the best candidate. Please, people, stop attacking, judging and ridiculing those black people who are for Hillary. There is noting wrong with supporting her.”

“…So I am going for Barack Obama because he is black? No, but because I feel that he is the best candidate to lead this country and for the educated out there we all know it is not about race.”
