For over two decades, the NBA has emerged, where super teams play a massive role in the league. There have always been teams yearly that reach their goal of getting at least two to three all-stars added to their roster to compete for a championship in the upcoming season. Powerful super teams can go way back to the start of the Showtime Lakers dynasty in 2001. The team had several stars, now Hall of Famers such as Kobe Bryant, Shaquille Oneal, Rick Fox, Horace Grant, and Derek Fisher. The Lakers were able to complete a three-peat of winning championships during the time which fast forwards to the present day and look at a team that has followed after the franchise in the present day, such as The Golden State Warriors, who have several stars now even with the addition of Chris Paul this summer they are looking to go for the franchise eighth championship ring. This past offseason, there have been several teams that are in the form of being called super teams. Teams such as The Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, The Dallas Mavericks, and now with Damian Lillard traded to The Milwaukee Bucks, it makes them one as well. Although these teams have formed great depth to each other’s roster, the defending champs, The Denver Nuggets, are not viewed as a superteam and are on a pace to repeat back-to-back championships. So how will each team players catch chemistry with each other with their new additions to help them out in going into the season? Could The Lakers finally get their second championship in four years? Or could Kevin Durant help out Phoenix to win the big one? The world may find out as the NBA regular season games kick off on October 24, as The Los Angeles Lakers take on The Denver Nuggets in a finals rematch game.
