Jaguars woman’s basketball to take on Fayetteville St., FAMU in HBCU Tourney

SBA Sports Marketing and Events Management has yet again assembled another year of intense action during the 2nd Annual HBCU Women’s Classic Basketball Classic.
This event will take place November 21-23, in New Orleans, at the municipal Arena the same week as the 28th Annual State Farm Bayou Classic.
The Classic will begin on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at 4p.m. with a clinic for all coaches.
The first series of games will begin on Thursday November 22. Tip off will be an 11 a.m. with Langston University competing against Tuskegee University.
The remaining games will resume play on Friday, November 23 beginning at 10 a.m. with Southern University at New Orleans against Langston University.
A new television station BEWELL TV will televise the games. Tickets may be purchased at any TicketMaster location or the Municipal Arena Box Office at the following prices: Adults $8, students (college and high school with ID’s) $6, kids 13 and under $3.
