Southern University quarterback Bryant Lee earned Southwestern Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for his play against Tennessee State.
Lee completed 30-of-40 passes for 305 yards with 4 touchdowns and 1 interception. Lee also rushed nine times for 42 yards.
He threw touchdown passes of 39, 11, 20, and 13 yards, the final three scoring passes in the second half.
Lee was also named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association list along with sophomore punter Josh Duran. Duran punted four times for a 40.5 average, pinning Tennessee State inside the 20-yard line once with a long punt of 46 yards.
He also connected on a 34-yard field goal in the second quarter.
