This letter is in regards to the recent article published in the Sept. 16, 2008 edition of the Southern DIGEST concerning the new hires in the Chancellor’s Office. I will be brief.
The article lists the positions of the individuals as follows:
Cecilia Griffin Golden
Jacqueline Howard-Matthews
Mwalimu J. Shujaa
Correct me if I’m wrong but the titles of assistant and associate are usually interchangeable for many positions. So for purpose of clarification, kindly explain the difference in titles here at Southern and briefly summarize the duties each.
I anxiously await a response.
