Dear Southern

Dear Southern University A&M College,
I am writing to express my appreciation for the valuable education and experiences that I have received at my esteemed institution. The knowledge and skills that I have acquired during my time at Southern have been instrumental in shaping my personal and professional growth.
If I could recommend one thing to my peers or individuals attending Southern, it would be to fully immerse themselves in the campus community. There are numerous opportunities to get involved and make meaningful connections, whether it’s through student organizations, volunteer work or attending campus events. By embracing these experiences, one can truly get the most out of their time at Southern and develop important leadership and interpersonal skills.
While there are many positive aspects of Southern University A&M College, if I could suggest one area for improvement, it would be to place a greater emphasis on mental health resources for students. College can be a challenging time for many individuals, and it is essential that students have access to the support they need to thrive academically, emotionally and socially.
Once again, thank you for providing me with the resources and community to grow, learn and succeed. I am grateful for the knowledge and experiences that Southern University A&M College has provided me, and I will carry these with me throughout my life.
