Last weekend 33 freshmen students were caught playing hide-and-seek in T.T. Allain.
Early Saturday morning at 1:45 a.m., the Southern University Police Department received a call that students were running through lecture halls and stairwells of the building.
According to Robert Bennett, dean of student life, the building is only open after hours for students utilizing the 24-hour computer lab located on the second floor.
“I played hide-and-seek when I was a child, not when was I was 18 and 19 years old,” Bennett said. “Any students caught breaking and entering into a building will face probation or suspension.”
The students, 8 women and 25 men, were placed on probation until Spring 2004.
