And he hath said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Too frequently we lose sight of the fact that God tests us in order to make us stronger individuals, and we blame others for our problems. We also fail to let him use us as. In our time of adversity he advises us to lean not into our own understanding; yet in all our ways acknowledge him. He tells us in the Bible, “I shall never see the righteous forsaken or my seed begging bread.” The storms will come but its our faith and anchorage in the Lord that will hold us steadfast.
