Q-What do you feel college students should do to motivate the youngergeneration so they would not take the path that you started on?
A-College students should serve as an example by their own behavior. There isa destructive force that is waging the war in the minds of young people and itis causing them to deviate themselves and their education. This generationneeds to know that the gangster and thug mentality is a fashion and byportraying that fashion it is disrespect to their university and theircommunity. They should make academic achievement, spirituality and activism thefashion to portray.

Q-What are your views on the upcoming presidential election?
A-We need a change in the administration. For example there was a budgetsurplus before this administration but now we have a deficit. Three millionjobs have been lost, the cost for college education is up but college aid andscholarships is down. I feel that the nation is more divided than it has beenin decades.
Q-Why do you think African Americans students should go out and vote for theupcoming presidential election?
A-A change in the administration will cause a change in their future. If wecontinue to try to fight two or three wars at a time, at some point were goingto have to have a draft and the main people will be African Americans andLatino youths.
