“Iron” Mike Tyson moves out and rapper 50 Cent moves into a quiet neighborhood in Connecticut to the apparent dismay of some residents.
”This is a conservative community, an old community,” said real estate agent Bob Lane to The Sun, an online tabloid. “It’s quiet and if he brings violence to it, he will be dealt with without hesitation. We don’t and won’t put up with any nonsense.”
A friend of the rapper, who remained unnamed, said the rapper would not bring any such activity to the new ‘hood, far away from Southside Jamaica Queens.
He said, “(The community leaders) just want to make sure there will be no wild parties or any trouble when he moves in.”
The house, which was previously the domicile of boxer Mike Tyson, was sold for $4.1 million. It houses 52 rooms, 25 full baths, 14 half baths, seven kitchens, four whirlpools, a gym and a disco area for the very parties the community fears.
However, the mansion also sits on a 17-acre plot of land.
Rough estimates say that 50 has already made about $18 million in just over a year and more is coming due to the success of the six-million selling Get Rich Or Die Tryin .
