The Southern University Police Department is looking for the person or persons involved in a midday shooting in the faculty parking lot of the Southern University Law Center near the footbridge Monday.
Police say gunshots hit the rear driver’s side door of a green 4-door Volvo. No one was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
At press time, SUPD Chief Dale Flowers said that a suspect has not been named but the department has received a few strong leads.
