Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15 in New Orleans for Southern University Law Student Tameka T. Dempsey, 23, who died Thursday, November 6, near Sorrento from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Demspey, a second year law student, was a graduate of Xavier Preparatory School and Loyola University in New Orleans.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Friday, November 14 at the Majestic Funeral Home, 1883 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd in New Orleans. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at Philadelphia Pentecostal Church, 1530 Saint Claude Avenue. Interment will follow at Providence Park Cemetery. She is survived by her mother, Linda Dempsey, three brothers and one sister.
