The Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center will hold the 60th Annual Livestock and Poultry Show March 20-22 at the Maurice E. Edmond Livestock Show Arena.
The Livestock arena is located on Highway 61 North behind Jetson Correctional Facility.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for the citizens and youth of Louisiana, allowing them to exhibit their prize livestock and enables them to be competitive and develop responsibility and leadership skills.
“We look forward to this show annually and this year we have barnyard displays, puppet shows and awards program designed especially for your participants,” said James Archie, livestock show director.
An auction and educational tours will also be held in conjunction with the show.
