Lauren Brumfield and Albertina Dudley have been named as captains of the Dancing Doll squad of the Southern University Marching Band.
“It is an honor and privilege to be over something so prestigious,” said Brumfield. “I have truly enjoyed performing as a dancing doll over the past three years.
Brumfield, a native of Baton Rouge and graduate of Redemptorist Catholic High School, is a senior marketing major.
Dudley is a senior mass communications major from Houston and graduate of Willowridge High School.
“This is a great honor,” said Dudley. “I never thought I’d be a dancing doll and now I feel that I have really accomplished something.”
