That homecoming theme could not be more appropriate. It should be the motto of the university. There is just too much going on to keep cool. Case in point:
Being that New Orleans could be considered a home site, Houston is the site of our last away game and then we can get back to the excitement and electricity of attending Southern’s home games. What most Jaguar fans will be looking forward to is the ever-so-popular and fun pastime of tailgating…
I have a question though. How can you enjoy tailgating when you are paying up to $200 to park and enjoy yourself? How can you tailgate when you are only issued two hang tags per each space. Who are you going to tailgate with? What about the rest of the party? The Jaguar Nation is quite perturbed over this one. Where exactly is the money going? Send some feedback please.
Here are some more for those applicable. How can student media get a parking tag during a game? We do cover the game also, in case you have forgotten.
Why is it that once a student leaves the campus on the day of a home game, they cannot return to park in their designated spots? What if a student does not like football and would just like to kick it in my dorm room?
Now I also hear that the Jaguar Nation has become quite discombobulated over the upcoming Bayou Classic. Oh, did I say that? I meant the Boohoo Classic. All over the world, members of the Nation are crying. From the sale of the tickets to the arrangement of seating to hotel rates (once again), the natives have grown restless in what has become tradition: the search for cheaper tickets for better seats and cheaper rates for first-class rooms.
Here is a lesson for all those involved: YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
And lastly, I have a question about the motto/logo contest. If I design a logo and come up with a motto, I know that I am to receive $500. But how long will SU use it and how much will SU make from it once it is copyrighted and I see my work on Southern paraphernalia? Am I going to get a cut?
…Stay cool.
