Slip —n- Slide Records is at it again. Trina and Trick Daddy, the queen and king of the sexy/thug empire are back in full effect with two CDs sure to keep heads bobbing and behinds shaking.
First up is the one and only, “The Baddest B$*@,” Trina. Opening on: Diamond Princess is comedienne, Sommore. She tastefully, in her own way, introduces Diamond Princess for what it is, sassy, raunchy, yet oh so classy. Sounds oxymoronic? Of course. Trina would have it no other way.
The album is full of appearances by some of the hottest artists of today. Don’t be surprised while cruising through the tracks if you run across such peeps as Missy Elliot and Ludacris. Although all three are not featured on the same track, the two fair well with Trina on the selections “Rewind that Back” and BR Back,” respectively. The pitbull in a skirt, Eve also lends her rhymes of reason on “Ladies 1st”.
“Diamond Princess” is also heavy with appearances by some of the freshmen in the game. Artists such as Fabolous and Tweet make waves on the already promising album.
Two words for you: Trick Daddy. Need I say more? Back with gold teeth and all, the rapper is your all-access guide to a special “Thug Holiday.” The Prince of Thugs who “loves the kids”….
His fifth solo album to date, “Thug Holiday” will encourage you to leave your worries “In the Wind.” The cut, entitled the same, includes Cee Lo of Goodie Mob and Big Boi, one half of Outkast. The radio friendly single shows an excellent example of the dirty south collaborating for a common cause.
Both “Diamond Princess” and “Thug Holiday” are sure to climb their respective ways to the top of the charts.
