The 24-year-old whose hits in “Wait A Minute,” which peaked at No. 8 in 2001 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Tracks. “One Wish,” which climaxed at number 6 in the same category in 2005 is back with his latest album, “Raydiation.”
“It’s a blessing from God to be finished with the album,” said Ray-J. “We’ve been working on the album for two years, building my company Knockout Entertainment – we’re really looking for positive things in the future.”
“Raydiation” includes songs such as “Exotic,” “Let’s Play House” and “What I Need” show off Ray-J’s vocal range.
“What makes this album different from the other two is the singing,” Ray-J said. “This is a step up for me vocally. On the last album, I didn’t get the chance to show my vocal skills. This time, I’m focusing more on R&B.”
With collaborations from R&B and hip-hop heavyweights like Fat Joe, May and R.Kelly, Ray-J said he believes this is his best album to date because he has destroyed his bad vibes and have replaced them with positive thinking.
