Numerous timesI have caught myself pointing the finger. I would accuse certain individualsfor my personal mishaps, which would cause me to stumble. Not once did Iconsider turning my finger around and pointing it at myself.
We, asindividuals, are so quick to blame others for the negativity that goes on inour lives — labeling these people as the “enemy” who are trying to prevent usfrom getting to our destiny.
Granted, thesepeople might partially be a negative influence, but ultimately the only personstopping you from your destiny is you.
One scarcelyquestions “Could the true enemy trying to distract me be the inner me?”
For we allwrestle with demons inside. Demons that hide behind our pride, clouding ourmentality and making us think, “Everybody is out to get me, because there isnothing wrong with me.”
However, in allactuality, the only person out to get you is yourself.
I have realizedthe reality of the matter is that the true enemy is the inner me. This is theone that lies past my skin, living within the depths of my soul — the onlyenemy that I can control.
The pessimistways of people are out of your control; they will always try to knock youdown.
It is up to youto stand your ground and conquer the enemy that lives within, that tries triesto stop you from reaching your destination.
