The Southern University LadyJaguars softball team will travel to Houston to play the Prairie View A&MLady Panthers. The contest will beSouthern’s first Southwestern Athletic Conference competition. On Friday and Saturday the games willbegin at noon and 2 p.m.
Currently the Lady Jaguars havea 6-6 overall record while one of Southern’s Hall of Fame Nominees, head coachNancy Marshall, is sitting 11 wins away from her 200th career victory. Marshall’s current win-loss record, andSouthern University all-time softball record stands at 189-138.
