Tyrell George 23, Devin Anderson 17, Ryan Armwood 23, Tyrin Colbert 17, Gerald Levi 17, Annette January 19, De Shannon, Broderick, Robert. These are a few names of African Americans killed in 2016 in black communities located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The hands of fellow Blacks, their own people were responsible for their deaths. Though their tragic deaths were not publicly acknowledged, they still receive support from the #BlackLivesMatter movement and protesters fighting for a cause. Who will neglect the inside of their house and try to keep the outside clean? Leviticus 26:37 says that we will stumble over one another as though fleeing from the sword, even though no one is pursuing us. So we will not be able to stand before our enemies? You think we will be able to fight against this nation rather by war or economically,when we are continually stumbling over each other, destroying ourselves? In 2014, about 90 percent of black homicide victims were killed by other black people. More than 4,900 blacks were murdered by other blacks between 2010 and 2011. As of 2016 in Chicago alone, 75% of the people murderd there were Black, 71% of murderers were Black, ages 17-25, and have the most percentage of deaths at 49 percent. Our people die the most every year, and it have been this way for years. The fact that we are our own worst enemy bothers me so deeply. Our oppressors laugh at us daily, planning schemes to keep us in this condition. But some folks are too ignorant to see what is really going on and with that lack of knowledge; those who are above us continue to prosper. Seeing that this is a major issue, which are stumbling blocks before the Negro that keeps us low and our oppressor very high, in Jeremiah 6:21 the Lord talks about laying stumbling blocks before us. And we will stumble against them, fathers and sons together, neighbor and friend will perish. Although America’s system is one of the main reasons why we are in this condition, it is not the reason why we should kill one another, giving this country another weapon to help decrease our population and having our sons and daughters grow up without order, as if they took them away from their parents as they did to our ancestors. But as all problems concerning the black man in this nation, even this problem will increase. In Leviticus 26:17 the Lord says that he will set His face against us so that we will be struck down before our enemies; and those who hate us will rule over us, and we will flee when no one is pursuing us. We are a cursed people but this curse can be uplifted, Deuteronomy 30.
