Jose Fernandez, of the Miami Marlins, was killed along with his two friends
on Sunday, September 17 in Miami Beach Florida.
The Cuban American acted as the star pitcher to a Major League Baseball Team from 2013 until his previous accidental death. Specific details were released from the night of the death. It is said that the reasoning behind Fernandez’ sudden venture the night of his death sprouted from an argument between him and his girlfriend who is currently pregnant with their first child. He called two of his teammates, whom which declined to accompany him on that late night on the water. Outfielder, Marcell Ozuna, recalls telling him not to go out that late.
“That night I told him, ‘Don’t go out,” explained Ozuna. Two of his other friends responded and the three of them headed out to
catch some waves.
While heading back to shore, Fernandez’ Boat crashed into a Jetty around 3
AM.

physically.
Marlins’ manager, Don Mattingly, recently spoke of the detrimental effect that starting pitcher’s absence will have on the rest of the league. Not only will the absence effect the rotation of players, but it will also leave a hole in the rest of the starting lineup. The six foot two inch Cuban native averaged 33.8 earned runs this season. emotion, said baseball analyst Buster Olney.
