A pop-up shop, also known as flash retailing, is a trend in which a business opens a sales location at random for a limited time before closing it.
The purpose of this method is to grab people’s attention, create a sense of urgency, and entice them to come to the store for a fun, limited-time event.
Southern University provides numerous opportunities so that students and local businesses can get engaged on campus.
On Tuesday, September 21st, Southern hosted a pop-up shop event in the Southern University Cotillion Ballroom inside of the Smith-Brown Memorial Union.
