The Southern University Student Government Association will be hosting its first annual haunted house.
The dual-themed event premiers as “The Death Below.” The free admission experience is one more initiative inspired by SGA to uplift school spirit in on-campus activities.
Other sponsors of the event are: SU Speech and Theater and Computer Science Departments, the Senior Class, and also volunteering help will be two on campus organizations: the Men’s Federation and the Association of Women Students.
To help set the Halloween environment, SGA has secured the basement of T.T. Allain, which houses the Computer Science Department.
“I think it is a great idea to have it here, many people rarely get a chance to see this area of campus,” said Dr. Khosravi, Dean of the Computer Science Department.
The building is located on Elton C. Harrison Dr. which runs through the middle of campus.
This student-ran event will be held on October 26- 27 from 8 p.m. to midnight on the 26 and from 8 – 11 p.m. on the 27.
The student “Haunted Halls” is the theme for the second night of entertainment; both nights are only college students with valid student identification.
