Rapper KRS ONE is quoted in many interviews as saying that a rapper must rhyme like they are hungry and that their next meal depended on it.
If this is true then Wu-Tang affiliate Ghostface Killah’s (Dennis Coles) fifth solo album “Fishscale”— the name is a reference to a potent form of cocaine named Peruvian Fishscale — proves that this Staten Island MC is starving because this is his greatest album to date since his 2000 release of “Supreme Clientele”.
Overall this album is not the typical single and filler CD, but an album you can actually listen to from beginning to end. If there is anything wrong with the album it would have to be the fact that there are too many skits.
