WRITING PROFICIENCY RETAKE EXAM
The Writing Proficiency Retake Examination will be given on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001. Sign-in begins at 3:15 p.m. To ensure that the test begins on time, there will be absolutely no admittance after 3:45 p.m. Students are to report as follows: A-Z in T.T. Allain, Room 313. The Department of Psychology and Social Work will sponsor the 3rd Annual Social and Behavioral Science Student Research Conference. The purpose of the conference is to provide students the opportunity to present research papers and to increase the number of social and behavioral science majors that conduct research papers and present them at professional conferences. HONDA ALL-STARS
SU is now accepting applications for the 2001 Honda All-Star Challenge Campus Tournament Team. Applications will be accepted from individuals, departments, clubs, sororities, fraternities and other student organizations. Teams will comprise of four students and two alternates. Each team member must be enrolled and in good standing at SUBR. The winners will represent SU in the Honda National Tournament featuring HBCU’s in Orlando, Fla., and compete for more than $305,000 in prizes. Deadline for applications is Monday, Nov. 26, 2001.
